Early Intervention

Strong communication skills are the foundation for learning, social connection, and confidence. As children enter kindergarten and formal schooling, their language abilities rapidly grow, helping them engage with peers and express themselves more effectively.

Our early intervention therapy focuses on developing the speech, language, and social skills essential for building friendships, participating in play, and navigating everyday interactions.

We take a family-centered approach, working closely with parents to set meaningful goals and integrate therapy into daily life. By providing individualized support, we empower children to develop the communication skills they need to thrive.

School Aged Speech Pathology Services

We offer mobile school based therapy. Our school based therapy supports children in developing the essential communication and thinking skills needed for success in the classroom and beyond. We focus on:

✔ Speaking & Listening – Enhancing verbal expression and understanding.
✔ Social Interaction – Building confidence in conversations and friendships.
✔ Creative Thinking – Encouraging flexible and imaginative problem-solving.
✔ Problem Solving – Developing reasoning and critical thinking skills.
✔ Storytelling – Improving narrative skills for clear and engaging communication.
✔ Phonemic Awareness – Strengthening early reading and spelling foundations.

By providing individualized, evidence-based therapy, we help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Neurodiversity Affirming Speech Therapy

At ABC Speech Pathology, we provide neurodiversity-affirming support for children on the autism spectrum, focusing on their unique strengths and communication styles. Our therapy embraces each child's individual way of interacting with the world, helping them develop functional communication skills in a way that is respectful, meaningful, and empowering.

We tailor our approach to the child's needs, whether that involves supporting spoken language, developing alternative communication methods (such as AAC), enhancing social connection skills, or building confidence in self-expression.

With a family-centered approach, we collaborate closely with parents and caregivers to create practical, supportive strategies that integrate into daily life, ensuring every child has the tools to communicate in a way that works best for them.
